Crafting Social Media Content For Ace Hardware: Adventures In Production And Vacation

In the fast-paced world of digital marketing, working with a production company can be an exciting and rewarding experience. Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a production company based in Chicago to create compelling content for Ace Hardware’s social media channels. But before diving into the details, let me share some other highlights from my recent adventures, including photographing the Miss Kentucky Earth Pageant and enjoying a memorable vacation in Mentone, Alabama with my lovely girlfriend, Cindy.

Partnering with the production company allowed me to tap into my creative skills and contribute to Ace Hardware’s social media strategy. Together, we crafted a number of engaging pieces of content that showcased Morgantown, Kentucky’s Ace Hardware as they have been putting out flags on veteran’s graves (in honor of the veteran’s who served this amazing country we call home) for a number of years and ACE wanted to showcase that. Creating captivating videos was our goal and to connect with Ace Hardware’s audience and highlight the brand’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

In addition to my work with the production company, I had the exciting opportunity to photograph the Miss Kentucky Earth Pageant held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Capturing the beauty, grace, and talent of the contestants was both challenging and rewarding. The event was a testament to the dedication and hard work of all the participants, and I was honored to be part of such a prestigious occasion.

Following the hectic schedule of work and photography, Cindy and I decided to take a well-deserved break and head to Mentone, Alabama for a short vacation. Nestled amidst nature’s beauty, Mentone provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and adventure. One of my highlight’s of our trip was kayaking in the serene waters a few times, exploring the picturesque surroundings. I also discovered a cool dam on-site, which added an extra element of fun to my kayaking experience.

Our accommodation in Mentone was nothing short of amazing. We found a charming house that offered breathtaking views, a private dock, and even our own private hot tub. It was the perfect place to unwind and soak in the tranquility. Adding to the convenience, we were just a stone’s throw away from a small convenience store and gift shop, where we indulged in a delicious meal during our stay.

During our time in Mentone, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to visit De Soto Falls. The mesmerizing waterfalls left us in awe of nature’s grandeur. As we ventured further, we stumbled upon the steps leading to the falls, adorned with beautiful colored stones. It was a delightful surprise to learn that the Little River Arts Council had decorated the steps, creating a unique and artistic experience for visitors.

As August drew to a close, my experience working with a production company for Ace Hardware’s social media content was a fulfilling professional endeavor. Additionally, my vacation in Mentone, Alabama provided a much-needed escape, filled with memorable moments and the beauty of nature. From crafting compelling content to capturing the essence of Miss Kentucky Earth Pageant and exploring the scenic wonders of Mentone, this adventure-filled month was truly a remarkable way to bid farewell to summer.

Stars, Cars and Honky Tonk bars

In addition to my work at the National Corvette Museum, I recently had the privilege of filming the renowned artist Jelly Roll at the SKyPAC Theatre. Known for his captivating music and authentic storytelling, Jelly Roll has captivated audiences worldwide. His recent feature on the cover of Billboard magazine further solidifies his place in the music industry.

Having the opportunity to document Jelly Roll’s performance and capture the raw emotions that flow through his music was an honor. It’s moments like these that remind me of the power of art in all its forms, and how photography allows us to freeze these fleeting moments in time. Credentials and the Journey Ahead….. As I sit in my office, surrounded by the physical reminders of my accomplishments, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride. Among the certificates and accolades that adorn my walls, I am reminded of the hard work and dedication it took to reach this point in my career. But my journey as a photographer doesn’t end here. I invite you to visit my website, where you can experience the thrill of the National Corvette Museum photoshoot and witness the magic of Jelly Roll’s performance firsthand. It’s a testament to the power of art and the impact it can have on our lives.

Lastly, we gained a new-ish bar downtown labeled “The Dusty Boot” it’s the first ever honky tonk inspired bar and dance hall Bowling Green, KY has had. I’ve already been a few times, I guess I’ve always arrived too late and it’s been super crowded. I guess I need to dust my boots off earlier and get down there, regardless I’m excited to see us get new attractions, and this is just a glimpse of what’s to come I feel for us. I’m stoked!
Photographing the magnificent cars at the National Corvette Museum was a dream come true and Jelly Roll performing here was just what this town needed, a sense of compassion, welcoming arms for those that have dealt with the issues he sings about, & lastly our town needed the exposure to help put us on the map again. It’s good to see that we’re not forgotten here… in our city BOWLING GREEN, KY!

From Frames to Film

Hello everyone,

It’s been a blistering blur of a few months for me, but I am so grateful for every opportunity that has come my way. I’ve been able to capture some amazing images for local businesses, including the Shogun Bistro when they launched their new bar menu on June 1st. The photos turned out stunning, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

As a photographer, I always look forward to the next chapter in life, the next frame, and the next minute. And recently, I acquired a number of photography tools that will help me create an even more advanced experience for my clients. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that no one in our local area is creating, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to each and every one of you who have supported me throughout my creative journey. Your kind words and thoughts mean the world to me, and I cherish every person I meet and memory we create together.

Life is hard, but we’re all in this together. So, stay strong, and always finish the fight. Victory is within reach, always!
In addition to my photography work, I was also able to capture high-quality video of Garcia’s Downtown in Bowling Green on their grand opening night. It was a fantastic event, and I’m thrilled to have been a part of it. If you’re interested, you can watch the video below to see the excitement and energy of the night.
Overall, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and the experiences I’ve shared with the people in my community. I’m always looking for new challenges and creative ways to tell stories through my work, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Thank you again for your support, and I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you. Enjoy the video!
